Country’s most modern coffee mill groundbroken

VGP - Trung Nguyên Corporation on Tuesday started to build a coffee processing factory with the capacity of 60,000 tons per year in Buôn Ma Thuột City, Đắk Lắk Province.

June 09, 2009 7:10 PM GMT+7

The groundbreaking ceremony

The US $40-million project has a close technological line provided by German and a caffeine extracting line which can produce 20,000 tons per year, the highest capacity in Asia. There is also a modern instant coffee production line which is the first one in Việt Nam.

The factory will be put into operation after 18 months of construction in two phases.

Trung Nguyên Corporation is convinced that the modern processing technologies will push Việt Nam's coffee export turnover higher than the current figure of US $1.9 billion per year.

The factory model

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will cooperate with Trung Nguyên Corporation to organize the "Việt Nam's Coffee Culture Night” on June 17.
