Congratulations to Cuba, Palestine and Sudan
VGP – On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Cuba (January 1), Vietnamese leaders of the Party, State and Government on December 31 sent congratulatory messages to their Cuban counterparts.
Party chief Nông Đức Mạnh,
State President Nguyễn Minh Triết and PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng separately cabled
their messages of congratulations to Mr. Fidel Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the
Communist Party of Cuba, and Mr. Raul Castro Ruz, Second Secretary of the
Communist Party of Cuba,
President of the Cuban Council of State and the President of
the Council of Ministers of Cuba.
On the same day, Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyễn Phú Trọng delivered
a message of greetings to President of the Cuban National Assembly Ricardo
Alarcon de Quesada.
On this occasion, Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm conveyed his congratulation
to Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.
* On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Palestinian
Revolution Day (January 1), State President Nguyễn Minh Triết on December 31
sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, Chairman of the Palestinian
Liberation Organization and President of the Palestinian National Authority.
