Congratulations on National Day of France

VGP – State President Tran Dai Quang on July 13 sent greetings to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of the 229th National Day of France (July 14, 1789).

The same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc also cabled his congratulations to French PM Edouard Philippe.

Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh extended his greetings to French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian.

In the messages, the Vietnamese leaders highlighted the crucial meaning of 2018, especially as it marked the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties and the fifth anniversary of Strategic Partnership between the two countries as well as expressed delight on the strong development of the two countries’ relations over the recent years. 

They suggested the two sides strengthen cooperation to promote Viet Nam-France relations more effectively and intensively for the sake of their people and for peace, cooperation and development.
