Congratulations on National Day of Cuba

VGP – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang and PM Nguyen Tan Dung cabled their congratulatory message to President of the Council of State and the President of the Council of Ministers Raul Castro Ruz on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Cuba (January 1, 1959).

The message says over the past half of the century, with the noble spirit and idea of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, Cuban people have been advancing firmly in building and protecting their socialist country in the spirit of independence, self-reliance, bravery and staunchness.

Vietnamese leaders and people will always stand side by side by Cuba in their revolution and do their utmost to develop the traditional relations and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides.

The same day, National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung telegraphed his greetings to his Cuban counterpart Esteban Lazo and Deputy PM and FM Pham Binh Minh congratulated Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla.
