Conference reviews Government Office’s 2014 performance

Earlier on January 14, the delegates discussed a report on the office’s 2014 performance and tasks set for 2015.

The report stated achievements, shortcomings and rectifying measures, and solutions to implement tasks set for 2015.

The office contributed to the country’s achievements in 2014 in terms of boosting socio-economic development and maintaining national security and defence.

It submitted 419 schemes, including many important and complicated ones which were required to be fulfilled under the pressure of time, to the Government and the PM.

The office also promptly reported social problems arising to the PM and Deputy PMs, followed up and participated in addressing burning and sensitive matters that caught public concerns.

It has dealt with over 95,000 documents sent by ministries and agencies and reported  them compactly to the PM and Deputy PMs. 

The office worked with ministries to issue numerous documents, including 29 draft laws and ordinances, 96 resolutions, 122 decrees, 36 directives, 2,435 PM decisions, 533 Government notices, 2,735 PM notices, 469 documents notifying the office’s conclusions and 15,160 notices by the office.

The office has given due attention to improving its communication work, providing accurate information about policies, legal regulations, directions, external affairs and big events which drew much attention of the public.

Logistic agencies ensured protocol requirements for meetings, receptions, talks and diplomatic functions.

Notably, the office reduced 53% of the number of officers sent to abroad trips.
