Conference on preparing personnel for 12th tenure PCC convened
VGP - The Politburo organized a national conference on personnel work for the 12th tenure Party Central Committee (PCC) in Ha Noi on May 28.

The conference was co-chaired by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; Politburo member and permanent member of the PCC Secretariat Le Hong Anh; and Politburo member, PCC Secretary and head of the PCC Commission for Organization To Huy Rua.
General Secretary Trong stressed the importance of personnel preparations for Party congresses at all levels and the 12th National Party Congress, saying that the preparations have been made thoroughly with high consensus, receiving great attention of senior revolutionaries and people from all walks of life and being considered as a decisive factor to the country’s development.
The PCC, the Politburo and the Committee on the 12th National Party Congress’ personnel have carefully collected ideas and reported to the Politburo.
Based on experience learned from the sixth to the 11th National Party Congress, it was high time to begin the procedure of introducing candidates, General Secretary Trong said.
Regarding requirements and implementation of the personnel plan for the future, General Secretary Trong stressed responsibility, objectiveness, compliance with the Party’s regulations and principles for interests of the Party and the nation, as well as resolution against individualism, opportunism and interest groups.
