Colombian Chargé d’affaires presents letter of credentials

VGP – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc on February 19 received Colombian Chargé d’affaires Carlos Alfonso Albán Franco who came to present his letter of credentials.

Mr.Ngoc welcomed the Colombian Government's opening of its Embassy in Ha Noi, expecting that the Embassy will actively contribute to strengthening the bilateral relations in terms of politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, culture and education.

Mr. Carlos Alfonso Albán Franco confirmed that the Colombian Embassy will soon operate to help with promoting the two nations’ potential relationship.

Up to now, 11 Latin American nations have opened embassies in Ha Noi, including Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, Panama, Uruguay, Peru, Haiti and Colombia.

Seven Vietnamese Embassies are operating in Latin American countries including Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela and Panama.
