Closer VN-RoK construction cooperation expected

Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea  want to intensify investment in construction sector
Addressing the seminar, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Thành Biên stressed that closer diplomatic and economic relations between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will create more favorable conditions and opportunities for enterprises of the two countries, especially those in construction and property investment, to do business.

Mr. Young Jai Cho, AKC General Secretary, said the broader and deeper cooperation among Vietnamese and Korean firms will help intensify investment in the construction sector.

At the seminar, many Korean companies showed their strong interest in Việt Nam’s administrative and legal procedures, information about bidding, new real estates projects, labor recruitment, and prices of construction materials.

The RoK is now Việt Nam’s second biggest investor. The two countries are striving to raise their two-way trade turnover to US $20 billion in 2015 and improve the bilateral trade balance.
