China National Day marked in VN
VGP - The Chinese Embassy in Ha Noi hosted a reception on September 29 to mark China’s 65 th National Day (01/10/1949 – 01/10/2014).
Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh lauded China’s achievements over the past 65 years and believed that the country will reap a greater success in the cause of reform and building socialism with Chinese characteristics.
He affirmed that Viet Nam is willing to work together with China to further consolidate the traditional friendship between the two countries.
Chinese Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong reviewed China’s milestones over the past decades, especially during more than 35 years of reform.
He said China-Viet Nam ties have maintained the developing trend over the past time with joint efforts by both sides.
He confirmed that China wishes to work together with Viet Nam in deepening their traditional friendship and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation to elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to a new height.
