The Ministry of Finance (MoF) was permitted to allocate life-saving boats from the national reserve in order to support the locality.

Both the MoF and the People’s Committee will be in charge of carrying out the mission.

The Central province of Phú Yên is one of localities badly and frequently hit by natural disasters in Việt Nam. Therefore, the task of natural disaster prevention and emergency rescue is of significance.

As reported earlier, the two severe floods and tropical storms hit Phú Yên in November causing nine deaths, damaging 1,203 houses and submerging 2,000 hectares of paddy rice as well as 1,000 hectares of farm produce./.
