September 21, 2021 12:10 PM GMT+7

The entire city is now placed under more relaxed social distancing rules in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 15 instead of the Directive No. 16.

All 22 checkpoints at the city’s gateways and 33 others at areas bordering neighboring provinces are maintained in order to control movement of people and vehicles.

The city will also maintain self-administered checkpoints at the entry and exit of residential areas to control people entering communities.

The municipal authorities asked the Ministry of Transport to stop domestic commercial flights to the Noi Bai international airport as well as passenger trains to Ha Noi.

Public agencies are requested to allow 50 percent of their workforce to work from home or on shifts.

Conferences are allowed with the maximum number of participants not more than 20 people in a meeting room. The city prohibits gathering of over 10 people outside offices, schools, and hospitals.

Safe distance of at least two meters is mandatory at public places.

Especially, the document loosens restrictions for hair salons, automobile and motorbike services, book stores, building materials. Takeaway services are allowed to resume but stop operation before 9:00 pm.

As of September 18, 6,432,921 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the city. The number of single doses jabbed is 5,671,487, accounting for 94.2 percent of the local people aged from 18 years old and 68.33 percent of the capital’s population. The figures for the double doses received were 786,095, representing 12 percent and 9.2 percent, respectively./.
