Can Tho-Bangkok direct air route launched

VGP – The World Transportation Services Joint Stock Company (Worldtrans) on June 6 officially launched Can Tho City-Bangkok direct air route to serve for visitors in the Mekong Delta region.

The Worldtrans has cooperated with other domestic travel agencies to exploit the direct flight in form of charter. 

The first flight was launched on June 6 though Thai Vietjet Airbus 320, carrying 180 passengers from Can Tho International Airport. The travel time is estimated around one hour and 25 minutes.     

Worldtrans will carry out 28 flights within three months from June-August 2018, meeting travel demands for 5,000 passengers. At present, as many as 5,000 tickets have been sold out. 

General Director of Worldtrans Vu Duc Bien said that the company will operate the direct air route till the end of 2018 and plans to run till 2019. 

Charter direct air routes from the Mekong Delta city to other provinces and cities nationwide and to Japan, the Republic of Korea, China and other ASEAN nations will also be organized.
