Can Tho to host Cambodia Culture Week

VGP - The Mekong Delta city of Can Tho will hold the Cambodia Culture Week 2019 from November 19 to 22, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The week will see a wide range of activities take place, including an exhibition featuring  Cambodian culture, including 50 photographs on Cambodia’s architectural and cultural heritage.

A music gala to kick off Cambodia Culture Week will take place at 7pm on November 19. 

The organisers of the event will offer tours for visitors to Can Tho with the purpose of introducing sightseeing spots to foreign friends.

The event is part of the culture and fine art cooperation plan between the two countries for the 2018-2022 period and celebrates the 73 anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day.

The event will be jointly held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
