Cambodian leaders congratulate Vietnamese counterparts

VNGOP – Over the past days, leaders of the Kingdom of Cambodia have sent messages of greetings to State President Nguyễn Minh Triết, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng who were just elected by the 12th NA as leaders of the State, Government and legislature.

In their messages to State President Nguyễn Minh Triết and PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, King Norodom Sihamoni and PM Hun Sen expressed their confidence that, under the leadership of the re-elected heads of the Vietnamese State and Government, the traditional friendship, close solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Cambodia will be further deepened and developed for the two nations' mutual benefits.

Leaders of the Cambodian Senate and National Assembly also extended their congratulation to NA Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng, confirming that "Vietnamese legislature will fulfill its noble duties for Việt Nam's peace, success and prosperity" and showing their desire to cement the good relationship of the legislative bodies of the two countries.
