Men Sam An expected that Long An Province’s authorities and people to gain more success and uphold friendship and cooperation with other Cambodian localities.

The Vietnamese province has supported education, health and technology transfer in agriculture for the Cambodian provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng.

Secretary of Long An Province’s Party Committee Pham Van Ranh expressed thanks to Men Sam An and the Cambodian delegation for sending Tet wishes.

He expected that the Cambodian provinces of Svay Rieng and Prey Veng and Long An Province will continue enhancing effective cooperation, especially in border trade and services and promoting the demarcation and the planting of the remaining border markers to build the shared border line of peace, friendship, cooperation and mutual development.

He suggested Men Sam An and the Cambodian Government accelerate the road clearance at Binh Hiep national border gate to facilitate trade for their people and help collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and martyrs who sacrificed their lives at the battlefields in Cambodia.
