The decision took effect immediately from the date of issuance on June 19.

Earlier, on March 18, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued six-point announcement on cross-border travel between the sides amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which stipulated that entry by Vietnamese and Cambodian citizens into each other country by road, waterway and air suspended from March 20.
