Cabinet members discuss five bills

They included the revised Law on Vocational Training, the amended Law on Real Estate Business; the amended Law on Social Insurance; the amended Law on Civil Aviation of Viet Nam and the amended Law on Housing.

The revised Law on Vocational Training aims to meet new requirements on vocational training in line with the Resolution of the 8th plenum of the 9th Party Central Committee; fix loopholes in the current law and amend and supplement articles in accordance with other laws.

Government members commented on examinations and the granting of graduation certificates, tuition fee exemption and business-based vocational training.

The amended Law on Real Estate Business targets to ensure the unity and prevent overlapping between the Law on Real Estate Business and other related documents including the Civil Code, the Law on Housing and the Law on Investment, paving the way for the real estate market to operate in an efficient, stable, and transparent manner.

Regarding the amended Law on Social Insurance, there remained different comments on social insurance subjects, conditions on retirement pension, and obliged levels of monthly social insurance payment.    

Government members noted the need to compose the amended Law on Civil Aviation of Viet Nam which meets sustainable economic development, encourages economic growth in general and the development of the transport sector and civil aviation in the coming time.

The amended Law on Housing targets to satisfy the demand of low-income earners, support social policy beneficiaries and the poor, create conditions for overseas Vietnamese to purchase and own houses in Viet Nam.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung asked relevant ministries to collect feedbacks of Government members to early finalize the draft laws./.
