Cabinet convenes July regular meeting

According to PM Phuc, all Cabinet members were approved by the 14th National Assembly with a majority of votes, which showed the lawmakers' high confidence in their accomplishment of the assigned tasks over the last three months.

Actions speak louder than words

The PM immediately assigned tasks to his team members in the 14th term towards building a government of integrity, creativity, and action, to better serve people and businesses.  

Ministries and agencies were asked to look to their shortcomings and renovate operation.

All Government members were requested to hold high a sense of responsibility in service of the Party, State, people and to act as "good as their word".

Promptly issuing working regulations

By late October, all ministries and agencies will have to submit draft functions, tasks, and structures to the Government for issuing related decrees.

The Office of the Government and the Ministry of Information and Communications were asked to speed up the building of e-Government.

Ministers and ministerial-level leaders are in charge of directing the building of action programs to realize the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress and National Assembly’s Resolution on socio-economic development plan in the next five years.

Focusing on law making

PM Phuc tasked ministers and ministerial-level leaders to focus on building mechanisms, policies, and regulations; streamlining apparatus; combating wastefulness; tightening management of public assets.

The new Government will discuss socio-economic performance in July and the first seven months tomorrow./.
