Welcoming the Bruneian naval ship included representatives from the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs, the High Command of Da Nang’s Naval Zone 3, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of Defense, the Da Nang Border Guard High Command, and the city's Military Command.

During their 3-day stay in the city, the ship’s crew members will visit the Vietnamese naval vessel, and pay courtesy visits to the city’s leaders and commanders of some the city-based military units.

In addition, the Bruneian naval officers and men will exchange experience and play a friendly football match with soldiers from the Zone 3 Naval High Command.

The visit aims to strengthen the cooperation between the two nations’ naval and army forces in line with the friendship and multi-faceted relations between Viet Nam and Brunei.
