Meanwhile, 27% of the delegates expected Viet Nam’s growth would  exceed 7% this year while 18% forecasted the growth of 6-6.5%. Only 9% stated the economic growth under 6%.

Up to 54% of the delegates at the conference supposed that integrity is the huge challenge for the nation in 2018.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Van Hieu supposed that Viet Nam has a number of advantages and opportunities for a future of sustainable and prosperous development.

The Vietnamese Government focuses on policies to create equal opportunities for all kinds of businesses and sets tasks for an action-oriented and serving Government to work for joint benefits of people and the community, he added.

Viet Nam realizes challenges arising from its deep joining of the world’s market through trade agreements, thus the nation has to improve its labor capacity and set the goals to resolutely maintain macro-economic stability.

The conference was jointly organized by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the VnEconomy on March 20 in Ho Chi Minh City.
