Brand Finance: Viettel listed among top 400 world’s most valuable brands

VGP – Viettel has jumped 126 spots to 355th, the highest jump in the ranking of Brand Finance, the annual report on the world's most valuable and strongest brands in 2020.

Recording an impressive 34% growth to US$5.8 billion, Viettel has ranked 355th in the world and 102th in Asia among most valuable and strongest brands in 2020. The telecom operator has been listed among top seven Asia-Pacific’s most valuable brands. 

The telecommunication provider announced mid-2019 its consolidated revenue increased 7.4% year-on-year.

In addition to improved revenue in 4G services and overseas market, the corporation has the largest number of customers registered for mobile number portability services, 53% of total demand in the market.

 Earlier, the corporation announced conversion strategy within two years, from a telecom operator to a digital service provider and digital social creator in Viet Nam and 10 overseas markets.

The report of Brand Finance is carried out in 10 sectors at 29 nations with more than 50,000 respondents.
