Border junction defined between VN, Laos and Cambodia
VNGOP - The first expert-level round of a Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos meeting was held from June 12-15 in Hồ Chí Minh City to define the junction of the three countries’ border.

In the atmosphere of solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding, the three sides agreed on principles and legal foundation to locate the spot where the three countries meet on the map. The three countries discussed preliminarily samples of the landmark to be installed at the junction and reached a consensus on work to be accomplished so as to settle the issue by mid-2008.
The definition of the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia border junction is expected to tackle border-related issues among the three countries and contribute to the Development Triangle Program launched in August 2006.
