The factory covers 85 ha in Lê Lợi Commune, Hoành Bồ District and requires a total investment of VND 6,000 billion.

So far, it is one of the greatest cement factories in Việt Nam, with the design productivity of 6,000 tons of clinker per day.

Its technology provided by Polysius Group (Germany) can meet international standards of environment and minimize pollution.

Many experts asserted that the Thăng Long cement factory will accelerate socio-economic development of the province, increase State budget, and generate jobs for thousands of local residents.

It has a grinding station in the Hiệp Phước Industrial Park in Hồ Chí Minh City, producing 1.2 million tons of cement per year.
