Bamboo house receives int’l awards
VGP - A bamboo house designed by Viet Nam's H&P Architects has surpassed 1,500 outstanding projects to be named on a shortlist for the WAN Small Spaces Award in the world’s largest architectural awards.
According to H&P Architects, the users can build the house by themselves in 25 days using local materials and can be mass produced.
Earlier this year, the Bamboo Blooming House won the International Architecture Award 2014, an annual prize awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
