BT contract adopted for Hà Nội-Hưng Yên road
VNGOP – The PM agreed on January 21 the construction of the inter-provincial road from Hà Nội to Hưng Yên under a BT (building-transfer) contract.

The Government chief entrusted the Hà Nội People’s Committee to work with the Ministry of Transport in planning the intersection of the route and the belt road 3.
He also agreed in principle that the city’s People’s Committee will appoint an investor to directly negotiate for the BT contract and implement other projects to recover their capital and profits. Otherwise, the People’s Committee can pay the investor under current regulations.
The municipal People’s Committee was required to quickly draft and publicize the portfolio of BOT (building-operation-transfer), BT, BTO (building-transfer-operation) projects to be realized within the city.
