The event is an opportunity for countries that have cooperative relations with Da Nang to promote their arts and culture. It is also expected to help strengthen the friendship among expat communities in the city as well as between them and Da Nang’s people.

Accordingly, participants are foreign economic, political and social organizations; non-governmental organizations; Da Nang city-based foreign businesses; representatives of foreigners’ communities, as well as foreign individuals who are living, studying and working in Da Nang city and neighbouring cities such as Hue and Hoi An.

In addition to the festival’s main events, there will be a host of side events like tourism information booths, souvenir and handicraft booths of expat communities, games organized by university students, exhibitions, and tea ceremony.

After two days of arts contests, the most outstanding programs will be performed publicly on December 9.

The event aims to promote the culture and arts of countries that have relationships with Da Nang city, and create better conditions for its residents to have deeper understanding about world cultures.
