Ambassadors present credentials to State President

VGP – Newly-accredited Ambassadors of Uruguay, Norway, Canada and China presented their credentials to Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong in Ha Noi on November 17.

Following the credentials ceremonies, which took place at the Presidential Palace, Party leader and State President Trong hosted a reception for Uruguayan Ambassador Portell Casanova María Del Rosario, Norwegian Ambassador Grete Lochen, Canadian Ambassador Deborah Anne Paul and Chinese Ambassador Xiong Bo.

Welcoming the new Ambassadors to Viet Nam, Party leader and State President Trong expressed his belief that the diplomats will successfully fulfill their missions, serving as a bridge to promote friendship and cooperation with Viet Nam.

The Vietnamese leader pledged to create favorable conditions for the Ambassadors throughout their tenures.

He expressed his wish that the relationship between Viet Nam and the four countries will be fruitfully enhanced, bringing practical benefits to each nation and contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
