All solutions related to Jerusalem must abide by international law

VGP – Viet Nam has expressed concerns as the U.S. recent standpoint on Jerusalem could have negative impacts on peace and stability in the Middle East.

December 09, 2017 5:34 PM GMT+7

Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang said Viet Nam has friendly and cooperative relations with all Middle East nations, including the Palestine and Israel.

Viet Nam welcomes all regional and international efforts and those by related parties to peacefully address all conflicts to sustain long-term peace in the Middle East, for the interests and development of all countries in the region, contributing to regional and international peace, said Hang.

Viet Nam re-asserted its consistent position on supporting the two-State solution, including the establishment of a Palestinian state co-existing in peace with the Israeli state along the 1967 border line.

All solutions related to Jerusalem must abide by international law, especially the resolutions of the United Nations, together with consensus of related parties./.
