AirAsia opens NhaTrang-Kuala Lumpur direct flights

VGP - Budget airline AirAsia will begin operating daily direct flights from Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 14.

July 11, 2017 3:16 PM GMT+7

Spencer Lee, Commercial Director at AirAsia Berhad, said as the Asean airline partner for the Visit Asean@50 campaign, we hope to promote the region as a single yet diverse destination to as many people as possible.

Passengers can also fly from Nha Trang to other cities in Asia and Australia using its Fly-Thru service via Kuala Lumpur, said Mr Lee.

Promotional fares from VND790,000 (US$35) one-way are available from July 4 to 9 for travel from September 14 to August 28.

AirAsia is the sole airlines having direct flights between Nha Trang and Malaysia.

The air route will help Vietnamese visitors discover the beauty of Malaysia and Malaysian people visit the most beautiful beaches in south-central coastal province of Viet Nam.

Customers can buy tickets at airasia.com.

During the first six months of 2017, over 230,000 Malaysian tourists visited Viet Nam, marking a jump of 16 percent compared to the same period last year, official data show.

Since starting operations in 2001, AirAsia has carried more than 400 million guests and expanded its fleet from just two aircraft to over 200 now.
