Agriculture, farmers resolution screened
VGP – Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh on September 13 hosted a meeting to look at the implementation of the Party Central Committee's Resolution No 7 on developing agriculture, farmers and rural areas over the past five years.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, all localities nationwide and ministries have seriously reviewed the Resolution.
The Deputy PM stressed that members of the steering committee need to study issues arising from the Resolution implementation process and draw lessons for further improvements.
The 7th Party Central Committee (tenth tenure) issued Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW on August 5, 2008 on agriculture, farmers and rural areas.
The target of the Resolution is to build up a comprehensive development of agriculture towards modernization, large-scale commodity production with high yield, good quality, and high efficiency and competitiveness.
