Administrative procedure reform boosted

VNGOP – Under the PM's direction, over the past time, the Government Office, ministries, sectors and local authorities have drastically promoted the administration reform by receiving and dealing with people's complaints through online talks, working sessions with various associations, the Government Website, mails, hot lines, and emails.

These agencies have also assisted people and enterprises to submit their petitions and complaints directly to State management bodies and competent entities.

Up to now, ministries, sectors and local authorities have accepted and dealt with 3,241 complaints on administrative procedures. They have managed to amend or propose the competent agencies to revise many administrative procedures to facilitate people's activities and business's operation.

The Ministry of Finance has amended 13 out-of-date administrative procedures; founded many working teams to handle troubles in export-import procedures at many customs posts; and proactively prevented red-tapes and negative phenomena in the customs sector. The Ministry is also piloting a one-stop tax regime throughout the country.

The Hồ Chí Minh City People's Committee has built up a business dialogue system with 1,071 organization members, including 22 societies and 1,049 companies. Through the system, enterprises and State agencies can exchange information daily; all complaints can be dealt with quickly, saving time and costs for both sides.

Particularly, to promptly lift difficulties in administrative procedures relating to land allotment, construction, architectural planning; designing, assessing and approving investment projects; issuing investment certificates, labor licenses, temporary residence cards for foreign experts and workers; providing tax codes and forms of all kinds; and tax collection and customs procedures, the Government Office has organized 18 working sessions at its head office, dispatched nine working teams to work with relevant ministries, sectors and local authorities for solutions. The Government Office has received and dealt with more than 200 petitions and complaints on administrative procedures.
