Cần Thơ Bridge in the Mekong Delta
Leaders of the Ministry of Transport will sign with representatives of the Australian Government the Joint Statement on the project.

The project, covering the construction of Cao Lãnh and Vàm Cống Bridges and several connecting routes, will be implemented in two stages: 2011-2013 and 2013-2015.

In five years, the project will help build up a better traffic network for about 170,000 local regular travelers.

It also benefits 5 million residents in the provinces of An Giang, Cần Thơ and Đồng Tháp through promoting trade in the Greater Mekong Sub-region.
