AGROVIET 2007 launched

VNGOP – The International Agriculture Fair AGROVIET 2007 was officially kicked off on September in Hà Nội. Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Đức Phát, leaders of different ministries and sectors, and representatives from foreign embassies attended the opening ceremony.

AGROVIET 2007 held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development under the theme "Việt Nam Agriculture: Integration and Development" aims to advertise the country’s agriculture on domestic and international markets through introducing scientific and technological advances as well as agricultural achievements, and praising excellent Vietnamese agro-products, businesses and entrepreneurs.
The agricultural growth rate in Việt Nam is over 4 percent annually. The export turnover of agro-forestry and aqua-products reaches over US$ 10 billion per year. Many products have penetrated the world market.
At AGROVIET 2007, there are more than 350 stalls of Vietnamese and foreign enterprises, including China, the US, the UK, France, India and Belgium.
