ADB-funded technical supportive project revised

VNGOP – Upon the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM agreed in principle the additional sum of US$ 750,000 USD (including a nonrefundable grant of US$ 600,000 from the Asia Development Bank (ADB) and a corresponding capital of US$ 150,000) to the project on highway Hồ Chí Minh City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây as a part of the technical supportive project "Developing the highway network" funded by ADB.

The PM assigned the Ministry of Transport to approve and implement the revised items as well as make preparations on schedule for the project on highway Hồ Chí Minh City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây. The State Bank of Vietnam was ordered to fulfill all related procedures.

The highway Hồ Chí Minh City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây project requires a total investment of VND 18,884 billion. The highway runs 54.9 km from An Phú Intersection, District 2, Hồ Chí Minh City, via Long Thành Bridge and Long Thành Intersection to Dầu Giây T-junction, linking the Long Thành International Airport and Hồ Chí Minh City. There are eight lanes (Hồ Chí Minh City-Long Thành section) and six lanes (Long Thành-Dầu Giây section).
