ADB-funded project approved
VGP – Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải recently agreed the loan agreement for the construction project of Bến Lức-Long Thành Highway which is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Deputy PM authorized the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV) to ink the agreement and the framework financing agreement with ADB representative.
Under the master plan for transportation development in Hồ Chí Minh City to 2020, Bến Lức–Long Thành Highway is one of seven planned highways linking Việt Nam’s biggest city with neighboring areas.
The 57.8-km route with a designed speed of 120km per hour and eight lanes will be an important part of the highway network in the South, helping vehicles to avoid entering the center of Hồ Chí Minh City on the journey from Đồng Nai to Long An, while providing fast links into the city center.
