ACB once again recognized best bank in VN

VGP – The Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has been recognized by the international financial magazine Euromoney as the “best bank” in Việt Nam at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2009 Asia Dinner in Hong Kong.

July 27, 2009 4:10 PM GMT+7

Euromoney praised ACB for maintaining a healthy growth environment despite the current global economic turmoil. The bank has scored the best returns on equity and assets.

Transaction turnover, renovation, leadership capacity, credibility, asset standard, profit volume are among the main criteria for any bank to be honored by the financial magazine.

Experts said that many other banks are striving to narrow the gap with ACB but it is still the best one in Việt Nam.

This is the third consecutive year ACB has been awarded the title. Earlier, Asiamoney and Financemoney magazines also named ACB the best credit institution in Việt Nam in May and June respectively.

Regarded as the benchmark awards for financial services globally, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence are now in their 18th consecutive year. This year’s awards process, which began in April, attracted over 600 submissions from the world’s leading banks and brokerage houses competing for the awards.
