Power contractors, including enterprises producing electric components or building power projects, will be granted with preferential credits and guarantees by ABBANK to implement power bidding packages.

The contractors will be provided with loans equivalent to 80% of the guaranteed properties at the interest rate of 90-95% of the rate applied to ordinary clients.

An ABBANK representative confirmed that the bank is willing to give capital to electricity contractors. “We are ready to allow contractors to put their properties in pledge,” he said.

According to Mr. Đinh Quang Tri, Vice General Director of the Electricity Việt Nam (EVN), with its prestige and capacity, EVN is responsible to ensure the disbursement and payment on schedule for its contractors. “Thanks to the financial supports from ABBANK, power projects will be sped up”, Mr. Tri stressed.
