The speech drew much attention from Asian leaders, policymakers, and international mass media.

Deputy PM Nhân appreciated Nikkei newspaper for initiating and holding this annual significant conference which creates opportunities for Asian countries to exchange views, increase mutual understanding and seek directions of cooperation and solutions to common challenges.

Mr. Nhân took this occasion to point out experience for effective intra-ASEAN coordination, especially similar economic structure and development level, low transportation cost, low and zero-import tax, and frequent meetings of leaders.

With advantages brought about by cooperation within the ASEAN community, every member country is benefiting from the Association and so safeguarded against unexpected socio-economic turbulences, said Mr. Nhân.

Asia, according to Deputy PM Nhân, is recognized as the major force for global growth and a dynamic region full of vast potentials. “The quick recovery capability of Asia is partly attributed to the self-help efforts of each country and also the mutual assistance through cooperation and economic partnership frameworks among regional countries,” said Mr. Nhân.

Finally, the Deputy PM called on foreign players to strengthen their presence in Việt Nam, with a sizable market with 100 million customers, a skilled, hard working and eager-to-learn workforce of over 35 million people, well-known political stability, reforming Government, 4000-year history and many cultural and natural world heritages./.
