VNGOVNet – On November 27, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng signed Decision 1568/QĐ-TTg agreeing the conversion of 58 ha of the Bình An Cemetery in Dĩ An District managed by the Military Zone 7 Command (under the Ministry of National Defense) for the purpose of socio-economic development of Bình Dương Province.

November 28, 2006 11:07 AM GMT+7

The PM assigned the Chairman of the Bình Dương Province People’s Committee to make a decision on land recovery in December 2006 and manage its use in line with the law. In July 2007,  the Military Zone 7 Command shall have to complete the removal of its military units garrisoned within the Bình An Cemetery to new locations and hand over the land and the related documents to Bình Dương Province’s authority.

Also in the decision, the PM requested the Ministry of National Defense and the People’s Committees of Bình Dương Province and Hồ Chí Minh City to revise their land use plans and submit them to Government for approval. They shall report the progress of the revision to the PM before July 30, 2007.
