3rd Int’l Festival of VN’s traditional martial arts opens

VGP – The 3rd International Festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts officially opened on August 1 in Quy Nhơn, Bình Định Province.

The 3rd International Festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts opens on August 1, 2010 in  Quy Nhơn, Bình Định Province
The festival is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committee of Bình Định Province from August 1-4, attracting more than 70 delegations from 30 countries and territories with 750 masters.

The event is one of the largest scale cultural and tourist festivals not only in Việt Nam but also in the Asia-Pacific area.

The festival is also expected to promote Việt Nam’s traditional martial arts beyond the national border and contribute to enhancing cooperation and friendship between Việt Nam and other nations around the world.

Besides, there are artistic photos exhibition about Việt Nam’s weapons and traditional martial clothes and international festivals of Việt Nam’s traditional martial arts.
