14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting wraps up in success

VNGOVNet - After two retreats chaired by Vietnamse President Nguyễn Minh Triết, the 14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting wrapped up successfully in the morning of November 19 at the National Convention Center. The Meeting issued the 14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting Declaration and the Hanoi Action Plan.

The APEC leaders, in Vietnamese traditional long dress, took a commemorative photo on the small isle in the campus of the National Convention Center. This was the final ritual of the Meeting, reflecting the high consensus from a peaceful, stable and rapidly-developing Vietnam on the message of APEC Vietnam 2006: Towards a Dynamic Community for Sustainable Development and Prosperity.
