 The move aims to perfect operation of State administrative agencies and serve citizens.

The launch ceremony was held online at the Government Office and broadcasted to 63 points nationwide.

According to Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, the National Reporting Platform and the Center for Information and Directions from the Government will help change ways of working, from paper-based to digital-based process.

The National Reporting Platform, which is connected with national databases, ministerial, sectoral, and local information centers, will help the PM and Governmental members supervise and inspect performance of every sector, ministry, and locality.

At the same time, the Government leaders can deliver direct instructions to ministries, agencies and localities via the National Reporting Platform.

Right at the launch ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a virtual meeting with local leaders of Binh Phuoc, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien-Hue, and the National Center of operation, management, and disaster response, search, and rescue.

Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government Mai Tien Dung said the launch of the platform and center demonstrated the determination in accelerating administrative reforms and gradually working towards e-Government.

On this occasion, the Government announced three more online public services on the National Public Service Portal:

- The 998th public service: Payment of compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and compulsory insurance for occupational accidents and occupational diseases.

- The 999th public service: Registration of adjustments to compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and reports on labor changes;

- The 1000th public service: Declaration and payment of registration fee and submission of automobile registration declarations;

Eight months since its inception, the Portal has connected with 18 ministries and agencies, all 63 localities, and eight banks or other e-wallet service providers.
